Discovery with Adventure Courses

Mountain Water Experience run a variety of Discovery with Adventure courses throughout the year. These are developed with staff leaders to ensure that the students receive the right amount of adventurous activities as well as experiencing field study options or educational visits.

Educational field trip

FIELD PROJECT COURSES :

We have found a combination of seashore fieldwork, a visit to rural industry centre, nature walks and a few adventurous activities a popular and beneficial combination to all age groups. Please discuss your requirements with us and you will discover that we can design a successful programme that fits your needs and budget.

Fiels Studies

South Devon Coast : The MWE centre is only a short distance from the Devon coastline which offers fantastic opportunities for shoreline and rock pool studies, as well as having an abundance of marine life to find and study.

Dartmoor: Dartmoor National Park rises up out of the Devonshire countryside and has a host of natural and archaeological sites to visit and study. The moorland offers students the opportunity to discover the beauty and wonder of one of the few areas of undisturbed wilderness in the UK.

With such a diverse range of study and activity sites closeby MWE, is the ideal location to base any Discovery with Adventure course from.

*One free staff place is available for every 10 students attending.*

*If your group is 30 or above in number you will have exclusive use of the centre*

Some of the Fieldwork & Country Projects that can be arranged are:
* Plymouth National Marine Aquarium. * Sea shore studies * Local History Museum * Morwellham Industrial Archaeology Centre * Moorland Studies * Woodland Studies * Paignton Zoo Environmental Park * Dartmoor Wildlife Park * Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve * Living Coasts *

These are just a few of the options that can be organised by us as part of your tailor-made programme

If you would like to discuss your specific requirements or find out about availability please do not hesitate to contact the office at any time.
