We have room and dormitory accommodation available for paddlers coming down to paddle the rivers of Devon or for those wanting to surf at Bantham Beach. Please call for details.
BCU 1-3 Star Awards
These awards will take you on up the ladder from being a novice to become a competent paddler. The courses are run to the British Canoe Union syllabus and will ensure you gain the most from the sport of kayaking.
Dates: Please ask for details. Weekday courses by arrangement.
Costs: £42 non residential, £82 residential (1 day).
Surf
Surf introduction and 4 star training / assessment courses are run on some of the best surfing beaches in the South West. There is no better way to spend those long summer days.
Dates: By arrangement and weather permitting.
Costs: £80 non residential, £115 residential (1 night).
Sea Expeditions
This is a chance for you to become involved in an expedition / trip around some of the most beautiful and scenic coastline that the South West has to offer. The trips involve a few days paddling along the coast with stopovers in secluded beaches and coves. You will be able to experience the peace and tranquility of a sea trip in the knowledge that you are in safe and professional hands.
Dates: By arrangement during the summer months.
Costs: Dependant upon length of trip undertaken.
River Guiding
The white water rivers of the South West offer a varied mix of water grades, and so, whether you are a novice or an experienced paddler, the trips are tailored to meet your needs and abilities. The MWE river guides are experienced and qualified paddlers who enjoy nothing better than leading groups down new and exciting rivers. As well as river guiding in the South West, MWE can organise and undertake trips further afield.
Dates: Throughout the white water season of October to mid March.
